My husband attended seminary to become a Minister and I was to be a Minister's wife..I could think of no better calling. Several years later, returning to Chattanooga proved to be a wonderful move for myself and my 3 children. I entered the work force here by working at a Mortgage Company. I was eager to learn all I could to better improve our lifestyle. I took promotions to several different positions in the mortgage lending field and then moved to work as a closing agent for a title company. My mother, Kay Witt, was working at a Real Estate Agent and kept inviting me to join her. I was reluctant to do so and give up a salary. Eventually I dove into the world of selling real estate with my mother and have never looked back.
After 30 years in the business I have helped many families through the difficult process of selecting a new home. Top browser icon. Wanting to 'minister' to families in a different way..helping them select their new home. Clients began to ask me to help them with decor changes in the homes they chose or others would ask me to help them get their homes ready to go on the market. From these requests my design services began..and today have grown into an equally rewarding aspect of my job. Many people want the assistance of a decorator but may be intimidated by the process. Once I know my clients and how they will live in their homes it is just a logical next step to help them make it function for them in a beautiful way.
Both aspects of my work keep me busy but I love selling real estate and decorating..I wouldn't change a thing!
